Should I Get A Ceramic Coating Or PPF?
Paint protection for a vehicle or other surfaces can be achieved through the use of two distinct media’s: Paint Protection Film (PPF) and Ceramic Coating.
PPF is a clear, flexible, and self-healing film that is applied directly to the paint surface. It offers protection against physical damage such as scratches, chips, and dings, and also shields the paint from environmental hazards like UV rays and road debris.
In contrast, Ceramic Coating is a liquid coating that is applied and cured onto the surface. It forms a strong, durable, and hydrophobic layer that guards against environmental damage, reduces maintenance, and makes the surface easier to clean. Additionally, ceramic coating enhances the shine and appearance of the surface.
To summarize, PPF provides a barrier against physical damage while ceramic coating protects against environmental damage, enhances appearance, and simplifies maintenance. The choice between the two options may depend on the desired level of protection and appearance, as well as the intended use of the vehicle or surface. We recommend pairing them for the best protection.
