Question:

What percent tint comes factory on my car?

Answer:

Window tint on a fisker ocean applied by Pristine Auto Spa

Most vehicles now come from the factory with a visual light transmission (VLT) range of 15-26%. You will often find this factory-dyed glass on the rear side windows as well as the back window, often leaving the front side windows and windshield susceptible to harsh glare and heat. This “tint” is a dye in the glass, completely different from the tint we will apply to your vehicle. It’s important to note that this dyed factory glass does not have the same benefits you receive from a ceramic window tint, like heat and UV rejection.
