Getting Started
This brand new Ferrari 812 GTS was dropped off at our Indianapolis, IN studio to ensure we get it protected immediately with the best paint protection possible. With just 5 miles on the odometer, the owner had it at the top of their priority to keep this beast looking great while also maintaining the resale value by reducing the chance of paint chips.
Xpel Paint Protection Film
We treated the Ferrari 812 with two XPEL products. We started with their Ultimate Plus PPF. The Ferrari owner opted for the full body coverage package, which covers all exterior painted surfaces including the carbon fiber trim. Our Installation includes the use of DAP software. This allows us to precisely cut each panel of the car without having to do any cutting on the vehicle. There are two large advantages with this; the first being that we can extend edges and corners to get a “hidden” installation of the film. Second, it reduces our installers from having to cut the film on the car which reduces the opportunity to cut the paint.

ULTIMATE PLUS ™ ‘self healing’ paint protection film works with direct sunlight to vanish away light paint damage like swirl marks and faint scratches. It is a transparent film that acts like a barrier protecting surfaces against rock chips, scratches, road grime and leaves a premium gloss finish. We offer multiple packages to fit the needs of your vehicle. Everything from a front bumper, front-end to the full body like the above.
Xpel Fusion™ Plus Ferrari 812 GTS Ceramic Coating
To ensure the Gloss PPF stays in it’s prime condition for many years to come we added a healthy layer of the best Ceramic Coating from Xpel; Fusion Plus Paint and PPF Coating. This additional layer creates an ultra-slick surface restricting unwanted dirt and contamination from grabbing onto the film and keep the vehicle looking it’s best at all times.
Ceramic Coating Coverage
Next, we applied Xpel FUSION PLUS ™ Ceramic Coating over the ppf and rest of the Ferrari’s exterior paint. Additionally we added Xpel Fusion Wheel and Caliper Coating to those specific areas for added protection. Lastly, all the Ferrari’s glass was treated with Xpel Fusion ™ Glass Ceramic Coating.
